LATEST EPISODE: A Season to Savour?

Two wins, a defeat, a draw and the standard controversy surrounding an away game at Bournemouth. As always, there is plenty to talk about in the new episode of From the Rookery End. As well as in interview with Lionel Birnie (creator of the "Tales from The Vicarage" series of books) the boys discuss the fantastic wins against Swansea and Newcastle, give Crystal Palace credit and bemoan Bournemouth. Again. Also up for discussion is the performance of Quique Sánchez Flores, the goals scored situation, and a three point plan for continued Premier League success. It's the International break, so fill the Watford void with the brand new From the Rookery End. You 'Orns!

So Watford find themselves part of the Pozzo family with brothers in Italy and Spain. As with most siblings, a healthy bit of competition helps each of us grow into stronger boys and girls. Oh yes we of course have our sisters in Watford Ladies team.

Here's how it works. Jason, the FTRE Statman, will calculate the average points per game for each teams League games this season. The team with the highest average at the end of the season will be the winners of the Pozzo League.

We are in with a chance then ;)

  2. Granada CF ladies are doing rather well. Won 10-0 the other week and they're playing Real Betis ladies this weekend :)

These ladies, they're teaching us men a thing or two, looking at the Pozzo League!

  3. We might have to expand the league in that case. We've already been asked to stick the U18s in as they're doing so well!!!

  4. If all else fails, we could always set up our own proper league, eh?

  5. WIFC should be in there !!
