POZZO LEAGUE

So Watford find themselves part of the Pozzo family with brothers in Italy and Spain. As with most siblings, a healthy bit of competition helps each of us grow into stronger boys and girls. Oh yes we of course have our sisters in Watford Ladies team.

Here's how it works. Jason, the FTRE Statman, will calculate the average points per game for each teams League games this season. The team with the highest average at the end of the season will be the winners of the Pozzo League.

Each of the podcast team has adopted a team to champion. Jon has Granada, Mike has Udinese and Jason is representing Watford Ladies. The Watford first team is of course for all Watford fans, especially you because you listen every month. Keep checking back each week to see how each team is doing!

4th May - 8th May 2013
The Ladies finished off their league season tonight with a 1-1 draw at Charlton, off the back of a final home win on Sunday - 2-1 against Portsmouth. Udinese have now won six games on the trot, the latest a very un-catenaccio like 3-2 success at Palermo. The best win of the weekend has to be Granada's 1-0 win against Champions League Quarter Finalists Malaga. Another important 3 points in their battle against La Liga relegation. Oh, and I haven't mentioned that game on Saturday, you'll notice.

  2. Granada CF ladies are doing rather well. Won 10-0 the other week and they're playing Real Betis ladies this weekend :)

These ladies, they're teaching us men a thing or two, looking at the Pozzo League!

  3. We might have to expand the league in that case. We've already been asked to stick the U18s in as they're doing so well!!!

  4. If all else fails, we could always set up our own proper league, eh?
